Exclusive photos of the Concordia rescue

Below are some exclusive photos sent to us by our friends at the Mitsui O.S.K. Lines Ltd, managers of the Hokuetsu Delight and Crystal Pioneer. Both Amver participants rescued the 64 students and crew of the Canadian training ship Concordia which sank off the coast of Brazil last Wednesday, February 17th.

You can make a difference by enrolling your ship in the Amver system today. In this "year of the seafarer" it is wonderful to see mariner helping mariner.

  1. Thanks so much for posting these. Our son was on the Concordia and we have only heard his account and seen photos from when they were brought onto the Navy ship. It helps us understand more of what they went through. If you acquire any more like this we'd be grateful if they were posted as well.
    thanks

  2. We are so glad your son made it through the ordeal. It sounds as if everyone aboard the Concordia was well trained and versed in safety procedures. Thank you for sharing your story with us!
