Vietnamese news reports state some commercial ships have assisted in the search for the crew and passengers aboard the ill fated Phu Tan which sank yesterday in the South China Sea. Tradewinds reports that two survivors have been rescued.This case, along with the other incidents of vessels sinking in the region, prompted these (here and here links to pdf) alerts from INTERCARGO.
