Lloyd's List just tweeted that Koji Sekimizu, in the second round of voting, was elected the next IMO Secretary General. Mr. Sekimizu was the Director of the IMO Safety Division and took 19 votes in the second round of voting to secure his spot as the top man at IMO.Amver maintains a good relationship with Japan and offers vessels required to report to the Japanese Ship Reporting System (JASREP) an opportunity to do so by following simple instructions in our ship reporting manual.
