On September 30, U.S. Charge d'Affaires
John Dinkelman and Lieutenant Commander Doug Jannusch, the U.S. Coast Guard Liaison Officer to The Bahamas and the Turks and Caicos Islands, officially recognized award winning
Bahamian flagged vessels and their companies for their strong participation in the
Amver system. Attended by representatives of registered companies and government ministries, the award ceremony also provided an opportunity to redouble vigilance regarding search and rescue, recreational boater safety, and aids to navigation.
Three companies were recognized during this year's ceremony held at the U.S. Embassy. Bahamas Ferries Limited, Campbell Shipping Company Limited and Clipper Group.
Congratulations and thank you to these companies for a job well done!
